Executive programme · 4 sessions

Build your company’s second brain in four sessions

For leaders taking AI from pilots to practice.

Over four sessions, you turn the initiatives you already have into a second brain your company actually runs on.

Built for companies that want to lead the region.

Set your vision and KPIs

Map the gap, honestly

Leave with a roadmap for leadership

Facilitated by Linn Treutiger, CPO at Devies, with guest speaker Christian Hendriksen, Copenhagen Business School

The premise

You’re already building a company brain. What does done look like?

Most technology leaders already work on a company brain or company context, whatever it’s called internally.

The unclear part is the end result. Defining it is where this programme starts.

A second brain is more than agents on your intranet. It’s a living model of your company that everyone can work with.

It holds your data, discussions and decisions, with the reasoning behind them. Captured as work happens, not pieced together afterwards.

It creates real value when three things are in place:

01

An access layer

so the right people find the right information at the right time.

02

An ecosystem

where teams share skills, apps and insights, so the whole organisation improves together.

03

And clear ownership

so the capability stays with your company.

Own what you build. Stay free to switch models and vendors as the technology moves.

Own what you build. Stay free to switch models and vendors as the technology moves.

These are building blocks, not a finished blueprint. In four sessions you define the scope, the investment and the build order. Just starting or already running pilots, you start where you are. Nobody has this field figured out yet, so the sessions run on shared experience.

What it can look like

4 problems every company has. Here’s what changes.

Case 01/04Expert knowledge

Expert knowledge

Every company has an Anna.

  • Every question goes to AnnaColleagues ask the second brain and get answers with sources
  • The exceptions live only in her headAnna corrects it once, and the correction sticks
  • When Anna is away, the work waitsThe knowledge stays with the company
Case 02/04Scattered information

Scattered information

  • The answer is spread across documents, chats and meetingsOne question pulls the right material together
  • Someone pieces it together by hand, every timeEvery answer shows its sources
Case 03/04Lost decisions

Lost decisions

  • The decision is written down, but nobody remembers whyThe reasoning behind it is one question away
  • The constraints and the data behind it are goneArguments, constraints and source data come back with it
Case 04/04Shared skills

Shared skills

  • Every team writes its own prompts and instructionsA proven way of working is shared with every team
  • Good approaches stay inside one teamThe whole organisation improves together

From vision to proof in four sessions

Spaced out, each building on the last. You bring a real problem, your peers bring theirs.

Vision

Start with the big picture: what a second brain could mean for your company.

Christian Hendriksen

Guest speaker

Christian Hendriksen

Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School

Christian researches how organisations adopt, govern and create value with generative AI, with a particular focus on how companies move from individual experimentation to shared practices and measurable value.

Together, you set the vision and lay the conceptual groundwork:

  • What should it accomplish?

  • How will you know it’s working?

KPIs and success criteria are agreed before anyone touches a keyboard.

Current state

Vision set. Now the honest question: where does your company actually stand today?

Building on your Brainwork from session one, you map where you are and the organisational obstacles in the way:

  • Which fundamentals are already in place: data, tools, processes, ownership?

  • What still needs to be arranged for the second brain to succeed?

In your peer group, you compare notes with companies at different stages and see your own situation from a new angle.

Roadmap

You know where you’re going and where you stand. Now: how do you get there?

Together, you build the roadmap: the concrete steps and infrastructure that close the gap.

  • What it takes, technically and organisationally, to get the rest of your company on board

  • Priorities, sequencing and resources: what to build first, and what can wait

In your peer group, you test your roadmap against how other companies tackle the same challenge, and leave with next steps for the Brainwork ahead.

Outcome

The last session asks one question: what did we actually build?

Every company presents how far it got and what it learned. Wins and misfires both.

Hearing how others tackled the same challenge, often in very different ways, is one of the most valuable parts of the programme.

Then you set new targets for where your second brain goes next.

Between sessions

Brainwork: never build alone

You don’t have to figure out a second brain on your own.

Throughout the programme, you work alongside technology leaders from other companies facing the same questions and making the same decisions.

Between sessions, you keep building in your own company. We call this the Brainwork.

  • Small peer groups meet regularly to share progress, discuss challenges and help each other move forward

  • Your group is there between meetings too, so a question in a busy week never waits long

You leave with more than a plan. You leave with a network of peers to learn from long after the final session.

Why a room of peers

You’ve heard the success stories. This is where you hear the rest.

Most of what you read about AI comes from the companies that made it work.

The pilots that stalled, the vendor bets that didn’t pay off, the tools nobody used: they rarely get a case study.

That’s survivorship bias, and it makes every roadmap look easier than it is.

Here you hear both. Every company presents how far it got, wins and misfires both. Expect an honest exchange on common pitfalls, trial and error included.

Every mark is a mistake a company survived and talked about.
“

Everyone tells the story of the planes that came back.
In this room, you hear about the ones that didn’t.

What you usually get

A polished case study from the one that made it

A vendor’s view of what to buy

A one-off talk you forget by Monday

Figuring it out alone

What you get here

Ten companies’ wins and misfires, side by side

An AI-agnostic plan you own, free to change models and vendors

Four sessions and Brainwork that keep you building

A peer group at a similar company size, between every session

What you leave with

Four sessions. Four things you take back to your company.

After session 01

Defined vision and KPIs

What your second brain should accomplish, and how you’ll know it’s working, agreed before anyone touches a keyboard.

After session 02

An honest map of the gap

A clear picture of the gap between where you are and where you want to be, and a shortlist of what to tackle first.

After session 03

A roadmap ready for leadership

A roadmap ready for leadership

A prioritised plan you can present to your leadership team, showing what to build first, what it takes and what can wait.

After session 04

Proof that your second brain works

What you achieved and learned along the way, a clear direction for the next phase, and a network of peers to continue the journey with.

Who this is for

For CTOs who are past the first pilot.

You’ve stopped asking “should we do this”. Now the question is what you’re actually building, and how.

01

Two seats per company

You, and the person who’ll build it with you.

02

Grouped by company size

It matters more than industry.

03

Bring a real problem

No laptop needed for session one.

04

Not a tool demo

Or a quick fix. We don’t sell either.

Sounds like you?

1 / 3

You have pilots, but no plan.

A few things work. Nobody can say yet what they add up to, or what to stop.

Or this?

2 / 3

Leadership expects an answer from you.

Vision, budget and the order of work. Ideally before summer, and defensible in the board room.

Or this?

3 / 3

You have an Anna.

Someone everyone asks. When she’s on vacation, the work slows down. Her knowledge should outlive her calendar.

Not sure where you stand?

10 questions, 3 minutes. Know where you stand before you apply.

Who you’ll work with

Led by people who build this, not just talk about it

Behind the programme

Taught by people who put AI agents into production every week.

Rikard brings what fifty colleagues at Devies learned this year. Including what broke.

Thousands of hours and tokens building with AI, in client projects and for ourselves, the failures included. You get that experience in the room, not a sales pitch.

“

Took an AI assistant from pilot to production in 6 weeks, and built an agent that sorts 400+ support tickets a week.

Integration is where most AI pilots stall. It’s our day job.

Agents wired into ERPs, CRMs and support queues. Connectors built and kept running. Every exercise comes from a live build, so you take home the patterns, the costs and the failure modes.
